Leitmotif
The term is from heavy German opera.
Leitmotif is usually a recurring musical statement, as an underlying theme. Like a theme, only in the Wagnerian opera, it is also tied to a specific character. Straying from the symphonic sounds, the opening bars to the theme song from the movie “Jaws,” it has a similar, used to be chilling, effect. Foreboding, in essence.

Mercury is retrograde every few months. Every couple of months, I find myself tasked with trying to find a way to best use the energies, and how to examine what it is that is happening, and then, how to move forward under this much-maligned and vilified influence.
There’s coffee, prayer, medication. Exercise, intentions, and outcomes. False starts, real endings, and more. Much more.
