8/3 is San Antonio 8/9 is Austin’s new location for the rock shop 8/12 is Tuesday at the new location in Austin 8/17 is San Antonio at the shop 8/26 is Tuesday in Austin

But looking further afield? My schedule in September is shortened.

All of the motions are fraught with significance, meaning, and possibilities. Technically, Mercury goes direct (stationary) August 11, 2:30 AM. What does it mean?

Got this in a bookstore in Bastrop (TX).

“The writing of our time is in constant, unrelenting transition.” Page 12.

But then, the writing, and in a larger context, art in general, is in constant, unrelenting transition. Grow, adapt, or die an inglorious death.

“The nation of writers is a nation of three-legged dogs.” Page 17.

True, both in essence and in context.

“It is stupid to say that writers need to suffer.” Page 48.

And yet? We do. Try bleeding on the page.

“At this moment, I have no idea if I am successful or not.” Page 62.

As they say? “Same.”
